What we found when the old gutters came down
The homeowner called us because their gutters were overflowing in every rain. From the ground the system looked old but intact. The real picture only appeared once we got on the ladder and started removing sections.

Why clogged gutters destroy fascia:

Step one: full removal of the old gutter system

Step two: full fascia board replacement

Step three: 113 ft seamless gutter installation with filters
With the fascia replaced and fully solid, we fabricated and installed the new seamless gutter system. All gutters were formed on-site from aluminum coil stock — each section cut to the exact length of its run, with no mid-run joints.
The system includes 113 linear feet of 5-inch K-style aluminum seamless gutters with a gutter filter system installed across the full run to prevent the debris accumulation that caused this project in the first place. The filter investment on the front end eliminates the need for frequent cleaning and protects the new fascia from the same fate as the old one.





Step four: 70 ft downspout system
The downspout system on this project totals 70 linear feet — sized and positioned based on the roof surface area, slope, and the specific drainage challenges of this Chesapeake lot. Each downspout was installed with a ground-level extension to carry water at least 4 feet from the foundation before discharge.
